Validated Insights says the U.S. trade school market is expanding far more quickly than it expected, underscoring a broader scramble by employers to find workers with hands-on technical skills. In its latest update, the research firm said trade schools and allied health programmes have become the fastest-growing part of the education and training market, as demand for skilled labour keeps rising across several industries.

The company said 2025 trade school revenue reached $19.1 billion, a rise of 11.4% from the previous year. That is almost twice the annual growth rate it had previously projected, which was close to 6%. Validated Insights linked the stronger performance to sustained employer demand for skilled workers and continued spending on workforce education.
